  3. Crashing SOFT-ICE seems to be a very
  4. popular method against debugging exe
  5. protection schemes. Most methods use
  6. the INT3 interface or other obscure INT
  7. calls (INT01/ICEBP,INT06,INT07,INT08).

  9. The files included here will let you
  10. change the magic values of the INT3
  11. interface of SOFT-ICE to anything you
  12. want and will also describe a few
  13. patches to improve SOFT-ICE!

  16. MSUB13.ZIP in ftp sites]
  17.  
  18. companion programs must also be changed!

  20. The patches were tested with the following
  21. versions: DOS v2.80 and Win3 v1.52,
  22. however they should work (perhaps with a
  23. few modifications) for other versions, too.
